We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety. For the upcoming weeks, we will be adjusting our schedule and patient load to accommodate required social distancing while still being able to meet emergency demands and ongoing patient-care needs. Infection control has always been a top priority for our office and we have implemented additional measures with the guidance of the American Dental Association (ADA) and Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that we are asking for all our patient’s cooperation with:
•PLEASE call our office to reschedule if you or any family member has been ill in the last 14 days. •Any adult accompanying a child in the office MUST be wearing a mask or face covering. •You will be asked a series of pre-screening questions prior to your appointment. •PLEASE DO NOT bring siblings, friends, or relatives who do not have a scheduled appointment. ONLY the patient scheduled will be allowed with one parent (if necessary) for scheduled appointment. • YOU MUST CALL 860-543-3553 FROM THE PARKING LOT when you arrive. We will only allow you to enter once the treatment room has been completely disinfected and we are ready to seat you.Upon arrival for your appointment, your temperature will be taken and you must use hand sanitizing station prior to going into the treatment room. •The waiting area will be CLOSED until PHASE III/IV has been implemented by the Governor. •Pleased be advised, lengthy treatment plan discussions will still be conducted, but due to current disinfection guidelines, these discussions will need to take place in parking lot, by telephone, or email. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. We recognize that this is a time filled with uncertainties for everyone and we want to assure you of our commitment to provide you with the services you depend on. We promise to keep you updated through this dynamic situation we are all trying to navigate through. Please keep in mind that this is a time that we are all trying to adapt to a “new normal”. Please be patient. Please be kind. Please have compassion. We are trying our best to accommodate everyone’s needs. We hope to continue to make you smile & laugh!
Stay safe & healthy! All the Best, Dr. Laura Miner & Staff
